Overview
The Organisation A Global FMCG Leader seeking to recruit a CI Program & Manufacturing Standards Co-ordinator to support deployment of performance improvement/CI programmes across our clients factory network. The Role Working within a centralised function the role of CI Program & Manufacturing Standard Co-ordinator is to support the accelerated CI program deployment through conducting program management activities ensuring visibility of operational excellence implementation progress across the factory network. The role will also be custodian for the Group manufacturing standards, seen as a source of functional competence in this field, ensuring adherence to these standards. Manage the overall CI / Operational excellence program deployment ensuring real time visibility of implementation status across the network. Create, develop and maintain manufacturing standards and act as the key point of contact for interpreting and implementing standards across the broader supply chain. Ensure a strong cascade of metrics across the Supply Chain network in a simple & effective way, minimising administrative workload Create, maintain and enhance KPI dashboards as business needs and priorities evolve Co-ordinates & facilitates the identification & sharing of best practices across the network Ensures best practices are captured systematically, converted into standards and stored in an easily accessible manner Identifies and operationalises optimum ways to replicate best practises across the network Leverage network to systematically identify and share success stories across the wider group. The Candidate 2 - 5years manufacturing experience within FMCG (ideally gained within a graduate programme) Experience of supporting and empowering teams within a manufacturing environment Experience of World Class Manufacturing tools & techniques Experience in developing interpreting & executing manufacturing standards Analytical with proven experience in simplifying systems, eliminating unnecessary administration using LEAN principles Training and coaching experience would be desirable Proven experience of successfully implementing manufacturing systems to various populations Strong analytical skills High attention to detail Expertise in Microsoft software packages (e.g. excel etc.) Knowledge of how to ‘modernise’ systems & reporting, leveraging cloud based systems etc. Operational knowledge of FMCG environment Influencing skills with proven ability to engage key stakeholders at various seniority levels Knowledge of the impact and implications of manufacturing KPI’s About Mackenzie Jones At Mackenzie Jones, we put specialist expertise to work.
