Finance Manager ·TV & Film Group ·Broad & Business-Facing Role ·£55-60,000 plus bonus & benefits This Cutting Edge, Multiple-Award Winning & Independent TV & Film Group have a healthy balance sheet and continues to experience sustained growth. They boast an impressive range of titles and have a worldwide reputation for delivering successful, cutting edge and high quality content. They now require a bright, up & coming FM to manage their core UK financial operations. Reporting to the FD you will manage the day finance function (actuals, FP&A , financial systems management etc) as well as some business partnering and ad-hoc project & analysis work such as investment appraisals, financial modelling for greenlight projects etc. They are Looking for a Senior Management Accountant who is Qualified with a proven background in the media sector. Main Responsibilities: ·Review and analysis of full monthly management accounts pack including variance analysis & commentary ·Preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasting & re-forecasting and long range plans ·Managing & developing a small finance team ·Manage tax compliance and submission of VAT returns ·Overseeing royalty reporting ·Assisting with the FP&A process (annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, long range planning) ·Assisting the CFO with business planning eg modelling for new investments ·KPI/revenue analysis, profitability modelling, investment appraisals etc ·Management/administration of the financial systems ·Driving continuous improvement to current processes and procedures ·Oversee preparation of audit file and liaison with external Auditors ·Ad hoc project & analysis as directed by the CFO Skills and Experience: ·Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) ·Proven background in managing a month-end process ·Some experience of overseeing or managing staff ·Media experience essential (ideally in TV/Film) ·FP&A experience preferred but not essential ·Able to show initiative and be proactive in suggesting improvements to working practices ·A self-starter who can work autonomously and manage multiple projects/deadlines all at once ·Excellent communication skills ·Thrives in a fast-paced but relaxed and creative environment.
