An exciting newly created Commercial Analyst role has arisen within a profitable, fast paced content marketing agency Working alongside an impressive Finance Director, the successful applicant will be looking after the commercial side of the business - client profitability, analysis, model-building and stakeholder management. This is a great next step for an ambitious individual seeking a role outside of standard management accounts & reporting Roles and responsibilites: Improving commercial acumen across the finance and wider Agency teams Driving client margin improvement and leading change & best practice in relation to client finance Building a margin improvement plan for specific accounts and monitoring progress against it Maintaining relationships with key internal and external clients Presenting financial information and reports to non-finance stakeholders in the agency Regular catch-up with the client project managers to understand the latest scopes, staffing, capacity planning and job progress on clients Providing constructive feedback to ensure job satisfaction and company objectives are met, including working closely with company management to ensure own requirements are fulfilled Skills Excellent communication and people management skills ACCA/CIMA qualification Proven ability to improve margins and improve processes to drive efficiency whilst constantly keeping in mind the commercial impact on the business Ability well with both finance and non-finance staff, who is approachable, very well organized and has a desire to succeed Experience working in the media industry preferable Strong Excel skills essential
