Job Summary As part of the European Human Resources team, the Project Manager will support a variety of HR projects in line with the European HR Goals & Priorities. In partnership with key stakeholders across the entire department, the Project Manager will help support, identify, develop and implement innovative solutions to effectively deliver the projects on time. The Project Manager role will sit within our Project Management Office, with the main focus of coaching, guiding and supporting our HR Project Leads through the cycle of the programme or project, by using the tools and methodologies currently in place. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain successful partnerships with the European HR team, HR stakeholders and key business sponsors. Maintain key relationships with the HR partners to ensure non duplication of projects and to drive global engagement on key initiatives. Lead project activities and report project status to ensure that assigned projects are completed on time, within approved budget, and provides desired business value. Manage and support the prioritisation of the European HR goals & priorities in line with our HR projects. Monitor and track progress of all projects, ensuring all key dependencies within and between projects are considered and managed. Responsible for timely and effective project communications including stakeholder and sponsor interactions, meeting management, and reporting. Facilitate post implementation review, lessons learned and feedback for process improvement. Provide direction, support and coaching to project team members and subject matter experts, as required in line with continuous improvement and project management structure. Agree project objectives, scope, deliverables, timescales and budgets and secure sign off from Sponsors and stakeholders. Manage changes in project scope or requirements, negotiating as necessary with Sponsors and stakeholders. Centrally manage and support all risks and issues and support with risk management processes, escalating where necessary. Ensure that all projects are progressing and delivering agreed results to the agreed time, quality and budget requirements. Provide timely and effective resource and project reporting in line with our HR project management office and business stakeholder requirements. Manage and oversee multiple projects concurrently, with varying scale and delivery timelines. Provide suggestions for continuous improvement within the team; our tools and support for HR. Supervises multiple, concurrent tasks and properly assess priorities of assigned activities. Track, manage and report HR resource being utilised to work on all European projects. Provide ad-hoc support in managing HR projects where necessary. Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels and with the ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences. Experience in managing complex projects, preferably within HR or within a project/programme management office Highly organised, able to prioritise and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience of using standard project management tools, methodologies and processes. A qualification in project management is desirable (PRINCE2, PMP). Experience with computer based project management tools and Microsoft suite of programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project etc.) Ability to mentor and coach individuals. Strong customer service orientation and skills, with a focus on listening to the customer. Complete integrity and reliability to manage and perform sensitive and confidential work. Ability to work on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, changing and thrive working as part of a team. Strong process and analytical skills. Fluent in English, another European language would be considered an advantage. Experience of Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodology; Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt certification is highly desirable.
