POSITION: PCB ASSEMBLER SALARY: £16.5K - £23K (DOE) HOURS: MON - FRI LOCATION: HOOK, RG27 9HX EXPERIENCE: DESIRABLE (Training can be provided) We are a specialist Contract Electronics Manufacturer, serving world-class customers in high reliability industries by providing a complete set of electronics design and manufacturing solutions in both printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and full box-build manufacturing. Due to continued success we are looking to recruit a PCB Assembler. This is a fantastic opportunity for proactive and hardworking individuals to join a busy and fast-paced team. As a PCB Assembler you will carry out hand assembly of Printed Circuit Boards to quality and industry standards. You will use written work instructions and items lists to assemble products to customer specifications and IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3 as directed. Part of the role will involve soldering conventional components, pre-forming, inserting and cropping component leads using hand tools, and incorporating modifications such as wire links. You will need the ability to work to written instructions and bills of materials and experience is PCB assembly. IPC certifications are desirable, as is an understanding of component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs. High concentration levels and attention to detail are essential, along with an excellent level of dexterity. A full job description is available on request.
