Your role will focus on the development of state-of-the-art software in the Healthcare and Biomedical Science space, literally building applications that help save lives. You will come in and work closely with different parts of the business, acting as something of an 'Android SME', both enhancing and creating Android applications. You will work closely with DevOps Engineers to develop CI/CD pipelines and you will engage in Scrum ceremonies, helping the business promote modem engineering principles whilst at the same time ensuring cross-team collaboration. Fundamentally, you will be given the autonomy and trust to help shape the direction of their Android strategy and will be given all of the support you need to achieve this. In terms of what they expect from you there's quite a bit. So you'll be glad to know that I have included the main bits below: Skills & Qualifications Proven commercial experience developing Android applications, with proven experience in both Java and Kotlin. Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum), as well as an appreciation for DevOps/CI/CD. Good knowledge of REST/JSON, as well as XML. Good knowledge of tools including Git, Jenkins, CircleCI and Docker. Good experience working with UI/UX and an appreciation for high-quality design.
