Overview
A healthcare company based in Central London requires a Commercial Finance Partner to join their growing and flourishing organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, guidance and leadership of a small team in an exciting and fast paced environment. This is a key position within the organisation and leadership team which requires an analytically minded candidate with commercial nous to deliver in the most senior role within the UK. Role Responsibilities - Ensure financial analysis and advice is considered and delivered accurately, and on time, including financial advice provided for sales proposals, supplier contracts and investment cases as relevant Leadership and co-ordination across key stakeholders, including applying commercial mind set to problem solving Provide pro-active support to business unit clients in the development of business and strategic plans including collaborating with the client group to develop business plans, and providing commercial advice Provide input to the relevant business owners for the monthly Business Performance Reviews including forward looking risk and opportunities Provide pro-active support to the business unit in the development of forecasts, ensuring assumptions and agreed to by the relevant stakeholders, and that strategies prepared by the business unit and reviewed and validated before signing off Build strong commercial relationships with financial and contract management leadership at key government and non-government customers, as well as business unit leaders and operational leaders Key accountability metrics include market share, revenue growth, EBITDA growth, operating and net free cashflow as well as working in capital management, return on investment, breakeven cashflow etc Key skills - Acting as a trusted advisor, communicating a shared vision to engage stakeholders in the achievement of enterprise goals Applying business and commercial fundamentals and success criteria to inform planning and decision making Planning how commercial problems can be addressed with data and analytics solutions, extracting and communicating meaningful insights from analyses, and action solutions to each problem Understanding and managing the financial position, in order to drive effective investment and financing decisions Candidate Requirements - ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Health, software or technology experience would be beneficial M&A and due diligence experience is highly desired Previous Leadership/Executive role, including turning strategy into execution, in start-up/growth businesses Strong understanding and broad knowledge of accounting, finance, and corporate and business laws in the UK and other markets Experience with government tenders Process Improvement and change management
