IT PROGRAMMING ENGINEER 6-12 month contract MUST SPEAK MANDARIN Paying £90.40 - £120.00 per day DOE Based in the UK Head Office in Reading 28 days holiday per annum Gi Group are recruiting for an experienced IT Programming Engineering to work for our prestigious international client. Based at their UK Headquarters the ideal candidate will be a bilingual Mandarin and English Speaker with excellent IT Programming skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server (tables) and the users. Primary focus will be the development of all business-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end business domain is necessary as well. Monitoring and analysing the current company systems of production or provision to check its efficiency, and working out a strategy for improving if necessary. Liaising with other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas or departments of the organisation, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Experienced coding ability with Python, VBA; Familiar with application use of Kapow, Mendix, Power BI; Strong unit test and debugging skills; Business end-to-End analysis capabilities; Degree of Computer (Science) /Engineer or similar background Bachelor or higher.
