Overview
Morgan Hunt are excited to be assisting a London based college (Higher Education) with the recruitment of a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The College are keen to secure an experienced and competent Finance Manager who will be responsible for the management of the financial activities including management of the daily accounting processes and financial reporting, budget and forecasting activities. Managing and coordinating the accounting team Delivering the monthly forecast and cash forecast Preparation of the yearly budget and manage the yearly audit reviews Preparation of the statutory financial statements Bank reconciliations To manage the bookkeeping Person Specification: Accounting and finance degree Minimum 3-5 years in a finance function Sector experience Experience of responsibility of managing accounts and budgeting Competent in using financial systems and knowledge of SAP Accounting Tools Excellent communication and customer service skills The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has accounting expertise and who has experience of monthly management accounts preparation and experience of forecasting in the not-for-profit sector.
