Overview
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are working with a renowned theatrical Media company who are seeking a Finance Assistant to manage the Royalties Revenue Accounting in their finance team based in the heart of London's West End. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player suitable to a relaxed and creative environment. This role will be for 6 months with an immediate start. The ideal candidate must have relevant experience, excellent numeracy skills, accuracy and attention to detail. A good knowledge of excel is a must - candidates will ideally have knowledge of royalties processing in order to hit the ground running. Finance Assistant duties in include, but not limited to: Inputting royalty statements into Music Maestro on a monthly basis and reviewing paythroughs and reconciliation with management accountant Sending out royalty statements quarterly Processing of quarterly payment runs including BACS & international payments Processing paythroughs for invoices manually raised by the Stock & Amateur team Month end support Support management accountant with the running of month end accounts including explanations for any variances Reconciliations Support for purchase ledger during busy processing/holiday times Chasing up of expenses and credit card processing Managing process for certificates of residences for any foreign entities Other adhoc work on request The Finance Assistant role will be paying £17 PAYE plus holiday pay.
