Overview
We are currently looking to recruit a Data Strategy Lead at our London site. The Chief Data Office (CDO) is based within Digital Data & Technology (DDaT). We are responsible for managing the NCA corporate record and information holdings, whilst nsuring the NCA can confidently identify, discharge and comply with its legal information management responsibilities. We develop strategy and set standards in gathering, storing, processing, analysing and disseminating information. We manage information access requests from the public and third party disclosure requests from other prosecuting authorities in respect of on-going enquiries/operations. We are also responsible for co-ordinating the NCA response to major statutory and public inquiries. Job description As part of a team of information management professionals, you will be using your skills and expertise to: ? To take responsibility for setting and delivering the data strategy for the organisation. This will include setting data strategy for managing data, sources of data, data value, identifying relevant new capabilities required in the NCA and planning how and when these capabilities can be implemented. ? To take responsibility for a data talent strategy by mapping the skills currently available across the NCA and identifying skills required to deliver the capabilities within the data strategy and identifying how to close these gaps. ? To track the value of data capabilities across the organisation, including collecting data and running value realisation models. ? To focus on how data can be used in new ways to provide benefits to the NCA. Responsibilities Responsibilities You will need to demonstrate the below behaviours: 1. Making effective decisions 2. Proven experience of leading and managing a multifunctional team.
