Reference Number: CAD-CM-CHIPP-YP-1603 Job Title: Chef Manager Location: Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, OX7 Pay Rate: £28,000 per annum Hours per week: 37.5 Shift Times: 8am-4pm Working days: working 5 days over 7 including weekends Atalian Servest are recruiting for an experienced Chef Manager to be based at one of our exclusive healthcare sites in Chipping Norton. The site has a small bistro and pre-order restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and some light snacks in the afternoon. Working under the guidance of an Area Manager the role will be ideal for someone who wants to develop their career. We are looking for a strong Chef Manager with excellent craft skills to manage the team at this contract. You will create a welcoming environment for the onsite residents, showcase quality cooking and drive the restaurant forward. As the Chef Manager of one of our catering contracts you will be required to provide and maintain an efficient service under all areas of your control, following company values, policies and procedures Duties will include- Preparation and service of food and beverages using seasonal, fresh ingredients and working within the financial parameters of the contract Continually promote excellent standards of food preparation and presentation to meet the needs of existing and new customers in order to drive additional sales Implement and maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety Establish and maintain effective working relationships both with company individuals and client personnel at all levels Work within, manage and develop a team to ensure service excellence at all times (across various outlets) What are we looking for from you Ideally, with a background of catering in a healthcare environment, you will already be a chef manager, used to being hands on as this is a small site and someone that enjoys interacting with customers.
