Jnr Sous/Sous Chef Oxfordshire- Chipping Norton Area £32K We are looking for a Jnr Sous/Sous Chef for a lovely fresh food pub based in a village location near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. The client is everything a traditional pub should be with its pretty Cotswold stone exterior and a muddy Land Rover outside. Except, step inside this pub and you’ll find something much more intriguing. A heady mix of the old and new. Expect modern cocktails to sit alongside local ales, and a menu that is packed with seasonally inspired dishes. This destination pub has a real reputation for its food offering and is part of a small up & coming group with other openings planned and already in the pipeline. We are looking for a Jnr Sous or Sous that has good kitchen pedigree and who can really make an impact in a small and very happy team. All produce used is fresh, locally sourced and seasonal. This role could be ideal for a very experienced Chef de Partie looking for a little more responsibility, or a Sous Chef of a smaller business looking to side-step. This is a busy operation and it's only going to get busier Working in a team of 7, you will work five days from seven, chalking up around 45 hours a week. The menu is developed in-house and the Head Chef really turns to his Chefs for inspiration and ideas. Base salary is £26K - £28k tips. Accommodation can also be provided.
