IT Deployment Engineer Location : Reading / Basingstoke Pay : £13 per hour (Umbrella rate) or £10.56 per hour (PAYE rate) Days : Ad-hoc work (9:00am - 17:00pm) Job Overview : A leading provider of IT services and solutions are currently looking for Deployment Engineers to join their expanding team on a Windows 10 Deployment Project. The successful engineer will take part in Windows 10 deployment of laptops and desktops, including desk-side swaps, offering simple fixes and fixing known errors. You will be hardware skilled to provide desktop, laptop/printer break-fix support and provide software installations and configuration in an existing desktop infrastructure or pre-designed project and will be familiar with current Microsoft desktop Operating Systems. Key Responsibilities : Connect and test Chip and Pin devices Connect & test printers Set up login and encryption software Update to Inventox via the deployed devices will be required in real time Possible Floorwalking - ensuring users are working normally, providing technical support to users who have been deployed, resolving or escalating any issues as appropriate and advising users of the correct channel to raise concerns.
