Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading multibillion pound, international manufacturing company as a Senior Management Accountant based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to form part of a global, forward thinking business, working alongside and supporting an established and dynamic finance team. As the Senior Management Accountant your main responsibilities will be: Responsible for local statutory accounts Be a key contact to external tax advisors Preparation of management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, profit & loss and budgeting & forecasting for a number of European subsidiaries Ownership for the completion of corporation tax returns Responsible for maintenance of cash book and completion of month end journals Qualifications, Experience and Education: Recently CIMA or ACCA qualified or past finalist Strong knowledge of accounting processes and current accounting standards Strong experience of Microsoft Office packages including a high level of Microsoft Excel knowledge Excellent communication skills Additional/Special Requirements: Willing to travel to Europe and US (occasionally) US GAAP experience would be an advantage Foreign language speaker/skills would be beneficial By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
