Overview
Voids Supervisor, Permanent Contract, Wiltshire Your new company You will be working for an excellent public sector organisation in Wiltshire, who invest in their staff training and development. You will be joining an excellent property team who offer flexible working, remote working and excellent progression within the business. Your new role You will be working as a voids supervisor on a full time, permanent basis in Wiltshire. As a voids supervisor you will support the Group Operations Manager to ensure effective management and delivery of a high quality void service, minimising voids. You will support the management of all contractual and technical processes relating to the void service including mutual exchanges. As a voids supervisor you will liaise with the Group Operations Manager to ensure all procurement functions are completed whilst maintaining a common approach on delivery using the in-house operations team and external contractors. You will be responsible for the budget of the voids team and will manage a small team of professional and trades staff, consultants, contractors and other partners within a variety of budgets and processes. As a voids supervisor you provide support for refurbishment projects (e.g. Home Improvement works) and cyclical programmes falling under Major works programmes, and to interact with the Group Reinvestment Manager as appropriate. What you'll need to succeed To be a successful void supervisor you must have working experience working within a similar role. As a voids supervisor you must have relevant building, maintenance, compliance or facilities management qualification e.g. HNC in Building or by exception, qualified by experience. It is essential you have knowledge and understanding of legislation and practical issues regarding installation, maintenance, repairs/voids and compliance.
