Finance Director | World-Leading Professional Services Company | Up to £185k Bonus | London Harmonic Finance are proud to be working on an exclusive retained basis for an international professional services business on their hire of a Finance Director. As Finance Director you would be the number 1 in finance and would report into an intelligent yet incredibly personable CEO. The role is a balance of hands-on technical accounting and oversight and also acting as 'trusted advisor' to the senior leadership team to provide them with vital financial insight. The company culture is modern and values-based and has a global headcount of 800. This position is based out of their London office in a scenic area surrounded by restaurants and bars, with occasional (c. once a month) travel to one of the organisations international offices. The role: Supporting the CEO and senior leadership team with financial planning and longer-term growth strategy, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities Financial accounting relating to projects and international entities Management of the annual budget and Three Year Plan Improve and maintain the management reporting process to ensure completion in a timely and efficient manner Ensure monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations are completed and accurate Attend regular board meetings and maintain key stakeholder relationships Management of FP&A, MI, Financial Systems, cash management and Financial Reporting Play an important role in company decision making and work on a range of projects with finance Management of the treasury function and cash flow forecasting Hands on management of the finance team Essential Skills & Experience ACA or ACCA qualified Excellent understanding of technical accounting Strong knowledge of project-based accounting within a professional services environment Experience working in a business with a turnover of £40million Excellent communicator High degree of business acumen Strong academic background Bonus Skills & Experience Experience working for an engineering consultancy Experience working for a PE backed/ AIM Listed or FTSE 250 business Experience leading a data visualisation project (power BI/ tableau etc.) Package: £165,000- 185,000 car allowance bonus medical insurance extra benefits
