Mixed Tax Semi-Senior - SUPERB ROLE McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top40 Accounting firm in Watford who are looking for a Mixed Tax Semi-Senior/Mixed Tax Senior to join their growing team. Reporting to one of the Tax Managers and working within a large team, the role is a tax compliance position thatwould suit apart-qualified ATT/CTA tax specialist or someone Qualified By Experience from another Accounting Firm, specialist Law Firm or Tax Boutique. Key duties include: Drafting personal, partnership, trust, corporation tax and IHT returns with the support of Supervisors and Managers in the Team Assisting with the preparation of sole trader, rental and trust accounts to accompany tax returns Supporting the team with other tax filings throughout the year including P11d’s, PSAs, ATED, Form 42 and EMI40 returns Liaising with clients and arranging submissions to HMRC, ensuring all deadlines are met. Dealing with basic queries from both clients and HMRC Assisting other tax staff and Principals with their client portfolios as required Maintaining a record of client Tax Returns and payments Ensuring all personal tax and corporate tax returns are filed and payments are made on time. To be considered for the role you should have some experience of dealing with various Tax returns, either within another Accounting Firm, Law Firm or Tax Boutique and be looking to move into a more broader role with more complex clients. You should either be studying for ATT/CTA or have a desire to study for a Tax qualification, and possess good IT skills and technical ability. Experience of working in a large team would be preferred, along with a strong team-work ethic and exceptional relationship building skills, be able to work well under pressure yet still deliver on time and budget. On offer is a salary up to £30,000 depending on experience & qualifications with excellent benefits including holidays, pension & healthcare schemes, and flexible benefits.
