Overview
Resourcing Solutions Ltd are working with an established design consultancy which is looking for a Design Manager to focus on utility diversions on a client's site. As a valve focused design consultancy our client believe in Multi-Utility design. Why have five separate ‘clashing’ designs when you can have a seamless co-ordinated design derived from their 3D design approach? The successful candidate will have experience in multi-utility design, be at least a Lead Engineer looking to take the next step up into a Manager role. This person must understand complex diversionary works. We expect the person will come from a highways, rail or tunnelling projects background. The person we require will be professional, direct, have an analytical mind and a strong desire to succeed and overcome problems. Their desire for accuracy and to deliver the clients standards will be unparalleled. This role will require someone who is able to communicate at all levels such as senior stakeholders of rail network operators building new rail and altering existing networks to individual staff carrying out construction activities. Due to the nature of the client's standards, a high level design qualification, or engineering management qualification is required, plus a full and clean driving licence due to travel requirements to sites which they operate on.
