Overview
We all know how busy the big grocers are currently. And what a fine job they are all doing. With the country experiencing a level of crisis not seen in generations, the demand for quality products, available to the masses, is greater than ever. Whilst manufacturing output is pushed through the roof, and the businesses supply chain is working as hard as it can to meet order requirements, there is a greater need than ever for diligent credit control. In this role you will work very closely with several leading grocers, taking responsibility for analysing and resolving customer deductions in a timely and efficient manner. Working with a number of key stakeholders, you’ll be supporting the sales, supply chain and AR teams to own the financial integrity of all deduction-related transactions. Clearly, you will be walking into a role with an order book stacked high and a great deal to get your teeth into. Whilst the current climate is responsible for a surge in orders, the business has been growing organically and very impressively for much longer than that. As such, this is a permanent role with future forecasted growth business need in mind. Key to the success and long-term future of this business is its purpose. This business is well placed as category leader but the opportunity to do more is greater than ever. There are a few boxes you will need to tick to be considered for this role. 2 years of direct experience in Credit control and deductions resolution, mainly with supermarkets such as Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Lidl, etc is the big one as well as good working SAP knowledge. You’ll have to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and it will take hard work and determination; but you will be given the ownership you need to make an impact.
