Overview
Projects Engineer Tier 3 / Systems Engineer – £35k to £45k based South Manchester. One of the North West’s most progressive and innovative IT solution providers is seeking to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to focus on the delivery (70%) and 3rd line support of infrastructure solutions with a focus on O365 migrations plus MS Server, Active Directory, Storage & Networking technologies. SKILLS You must have at least 4-5 years’ projects experience implementing and supporting IT infrastructure solutions into external clients – with experience in most of the following areas: •O365 hybrid email migrations, O365 Security features / MDM (Intune) rollout •SharePoint Online, MS Teams •Windows Server 2008 – 2016 (2019) •Active Directory domain deployment •LAN (VLAN) / WAN / Firewalls •Pre-Sales & Training experience desirable Any experience with VMware, Hyper-V, SAN storage implementation and management, Web Services (Azure, Amazon), would be advantageous as would industry accreditation – MCSE/MCSA, VCP. ROLE The Systems Engineer will be involved in deploying technical infrastructure projects centred on the above technologies including build, configuration and implementation (70%) plus 2nd / 3rd line support to SMEs, Enterprise and public sector clients mainly in North West England. With 4-5 years experience in a client facing role the Systems Engineer will possess first class communication skills, a positive and professional work manner, the ability to work individually or in a team, and a flexible “can do” attitude.
