Job Description
16790BR Title: Systems Engineers (Requirements Management) Job Description: QuEST has a growing Electronics, Systems and Software engineering capability in the UK geared to support our customers across sections. A requirement has arisen in this team for a Systems Engineer with requirements management experience. Candidates should currently be employed as a Systems Engineer/ Senior Systems Engineer/ Principal Systems Engineer with experience of system/ sub-system requirements definition, requirements capture/ management, systems architecture and interface definition of complex, high-reliability systems. Ideally we are looking for RF/ Radar or Electro-optics systems experience. Note, that due to the nature of the tasks involved, you will have to achieve full SC security clearance, and may need to satisfy further UK eyes only and ITAR conditions. Job Responsibilities Will vary depending on level of experience, but main responsibilities may include: + Capture the Radar or Electro-optics system design as system requirements + Allocate system level requirements to sub-systems based on the system architecture + Requirements capture/management using DOORS + Support the implementation of system level requirements + Collaboration with software and hardware teams to define efficient implementations and optimisations of the radar design + Definition of System interface requirements Skills, Qualifications and Experience required: Mandatory + 2:1 honours degree or better in a relevant STEM-based subject + Systems design experience of complex, high-reliability systems (ideally RF/ Radar or Electro-optics systems) + Experience of system/ sub-system level requirements definition and Interface Definition + Experience of Requirements Engineering and/ or management + Ability to generate clear, concise and testable requirements + Previous experience of Requirements management tools, e.g. DOORS (preferred), Jama, Enterprise Architect, etc + Experience of working in multi-disciplined Engineering teams + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Desirable + Previous experience of RF/ Radar or Electro-optics systems design + Generation of system/ sub-system architectures + Experience of defining verification methods for systems/ sub-systems requirements and establishing traceability of requirements + Experience of Verification Matrix definition Qualifications + 2:1 or better Honours degree (BSc/ BEng/ MSc/ MEng) + UK/ EU citizenship is mandatory to be able to clear the background checks and obtain SC clearance + Current valid SC clearance would be an advantage Auto req ID: 16790BR Job Type: Full Time-Regular Assignment Country: United Kingdom Total Years of Exp: 8 Education Type: B.E/B.Tech/BS-Electrical and Electronics Engineering Assignment State: Lothian Region Assignment Location: Edinburgh Experience Level: Mid Level
