With significant plans to grow and develop the business model, our client are recruiting for a Senior Auditor to support operational business processes across technology, people finance, risk and communications. Working in a value added Internal Audit function, this role will share stakeholder relationship responsibilities across the business to increase visibility of Strategy and Business Objectives to focus work on the highest risks to effectively deliver the audit plan. Our client is passionate about process improvement and empowering employees to deliver meaningful MI across the function during this exciting period of transformational change. Your new role The Senior Auditor will report to the Audit Manager across the UK business ensuring that they meet regulatory, deputational and commercial requirements. Highlighting issues to senior management, this role will gain incredible exposure across BAU and project activities from operational risk, review of procedural changes and ongoing enhancements to deliver all aspects of the Audit Plan and audit outputs in line with methodology. Our client has a long-term approach to business and its customers with the Senior Auditor facing across all aspects of the business and taking accountability for individual audits. No day will ever be the same in this role from gaining exposure to people and process delivery to identifying solutions to complex problems. The role of the Senior Auditor is Identify, assess, control and monitor risks whilst providing a partnering mentality to support stakeholders across this period of change. What you'll need to succeed With a commitment to achieving best practice and instigating change the Senior Auditor will leverage agile working techniques and pro-actively seek solutions to complex problems. You will have a natural ability to consider internal and external factors across the audit process, meeting regulatory guidelines and continually evolve practices to protect the business. You will work with management on performance and how things can evolve and change to cope with new developments. Audit is well respected within the business and the team is growing to meet the needs and demands of the business during what is a very exciting time for the company across the board. This role will be suited to a Qualified accountant who has had a high level of exposure within complex businesses. Exposure across changing environments with a deep understanding of regulations, legislation, governance and compliance requirements is essential here with the Senior Auditor capable of challenging and improving operational processes and feeding back meaningful MI to stakeholders to enhance performance.
