Property Manager – PRS / Build to Rent - East London – up to £34k to start My client is one of the UK’s largest residential landlords and the current market leader in the UK build to rent and private rented sector. Providing corporate, open market and social housing tenancies on varying tenures, their residents enjoy purpose built blocks with excellent facilities that are well maintained and professionally managed. With an existing portfolio approaching 10,000 units and almost as many again in the pipeline, they are always seeking suitable property managers to join their growing teams across regional offices for long term career opportunities. As a result of a recent new build development launch/release in East London, one such opportunity exists for a PRS / Build to Rent property manager / housing officer to oversee the onboarding of residents, conducting of viewings, tenancy sign ups, referencing and the management of all elements of the estate going forward including maintenance, repair, voids and anti-social behaviour. Whilst not essential, the suitable PRS / Build to Rent property manager / housing officer might also have experience of the nominations process from a local housing authority (choice based lettings process), though full training and support will be provided regardless. Suitable PRS / Build to Rent property manager / housing officer applicants will also manage capital expenditure, maximise yields, implement added value, liaise with the lettings team for re-lets, optimise rents, minimalize rental loss and monitor rent loss through voids and arrears. Coming from a stable career background (private sector or housing) with excellent attention to detail and customer service, the suitable PRS / Build to Rent property manager / housing officer will have a full driving license, knowledge of the Housing/Rent Act as well as residential tenancies/AST’s, ideally some exposure to discounted market rental properties, shared ownership properties, or affordable homes, strong H&S knowledge and excellent all round system skills (Outlook, Office, Excel etc.). In addition, the suitable PRS / Build to Rent property manager / housing officer will have sound commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and live within suitable range of East London. Salary for the successful PRS / Build to Rent property manager / housing officer will range from £30-34k to start.
