Overview

This role is five days per week including weekends. The entry level rate of pay is £9.21. As a Head Housekeeper with Premier Inn you will be a key part in our management team reporting directly to the Hotel Manager. You will be responsible for driving our high room standards through inspiring and developing the housekeeping team. Everything you do in your role, from managing laundry & labour controls all the way through to making sure everything works & controlling the deep cleaning schedule, will impact on our guests so it’s important that you are able to prioritise your workload to ensure all areas are managed efficiently. Health and safety and COSHH compliance should always be on the forefront of your mind, making sure both our teams and guests are always safe. Every day will be slightly different, but your main role will be ensuring every room is ready for the arrival of our guests. You’ll be integral part of ensuring our guests get a great night’s sleep. Your day to day tasks may include: Using your eye for detail to make sure our rooms and public areas are clean and fresh for our guests. Updating our online maintenance portal to ensure all maintenance issues within the rooms are dealt with accordingly by our in-house maintenance teams. Conducting team 1:1’s to ensure they are fully knowledgeable of our room cleaning procedures. Managing the labour and rota accordingly – making sure we have enough team at the crucial times. Keeping on top of the laundry - making sure you have the right amount of laundry for the days ahead. Whether you’re doing a deep clean or a team 1:1, you’ll have the guest experience at the heart of everything you do.
