Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced workforce planner to play a crucial role to shape the future of Hampshire Hospitals via strategic workforce planning and our Modernising our Hospitals programme. In October 2019, the government announced its Health Infrastructure Plan, a long-term, rolling five-year programme of investment in health infrastructure, including capital to build new hospitals. Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) is part of phase 2 of this plan and the Modernising our Hospitals and Health Infrastructure (MOHHI) programme has been given the green light to go to the next stage of developing its plans (with the aim of being ready to deliver between 2025-2030). We are looking for a candidate who lead the workforce planning for Hampshire Hospitals and in particular for the Modernising our Hospitals project. You will lead on developing both the workforce plan for our new Hospital project, a 5 year workforce plan to accompany our new hospital business case and annual operational workforce plan.
