Partnerships and development manager - Permanent - Charity Organisation - £38.775 per annum Your new company A leading UK charity. Your new role Responsible for aligning priorities, needs and customers with sources of funding. Work with key stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and proposals for funders. Lead on securing funding for these innovations. Secure grant and other funding agreements including partnership agreements, service level agreements and memorandums of understanding. Lead on sustainable delivery by equipping and capacity building colleagues Secure high value grants and funding agreements that contribute to Partnerships Section financial and strategic targets. Representing in negotiations with key stakeholders to secure strategic alignment and support for shared development plans, and income from funders. Project managing bid development groups made up of representatives of internal and external partners to plan and implement new ways to meet customer needs and generate income to fund developments Liaison with charities strategic funders regarding the potential for (and offer of) large scale funding towards projects. To project-manage bid development groups including project and service managers, finance colleagues, and other internal and external partners leading to submission of high quality funding applications and proposals. To contribute to Partnerships annual budgeting and planning processes. What you'll need to succeed Experience of generating large (£100,000) grants from Lottery, statutory or European funders, or from other institutional funders Well-developed negotiating and influencing skills - ability to shape funders' decisions around criteria of forthcoming funding programmes Experience of research, preparation and delivery of funding proposals for both existing and new funders / external customers. Experience of project management Knowledge of key marketing principles is desirable Experience of using business planning tools and techniques Experience of developing accurate and relevant short, medium and long term financial and resource proposals for new and existing projects/services supported by effective monitoring and evaluation criteria. Experience of producing income and expenditure budgets. Willingness to work occasionally outside standard office hours.
