Overview

Business Product Analyst Location: Wokingham Salary: £33-36,000 Our client based in Wokingham is currently looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business Product Analyst to come on board and join their team. You will be working closely with the Senior Product Analyst(s) and Product Owner and collaborating with other tribe members to manifest the product vision and strategy, through user stories and specifications, to bring them to life. Through both legislative compliance and feature enhancements you will ensure that areas of improvement within your product areas meet changing business needs and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Take an active part in all agile events and collaborate with other tribe members on a daily basis under the supervision of the Product Owner Assist with product research into market requirements to determine the need for key improvements and enhancements, reflecting user demand Assist with legislative research (where necessary) to determine the need for change to make sure products remain compliant Work closely with the Senior Product Analyst(s) and Product Owner to analyse how the product strategy and project goals can be applied to our software Be proactive in analysing, evaluating and exploring solutions on product ideas and enhancements Work collaboratively with Senior Product Analyst(s), Product Owner and other internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements and develop solutions, technical and functional specifications and interface designs Work closely with the Product Owner to assist with producing well-defined user stories and monitoring the product backlog Work effectively with other tribe members (and teams) through iterative sprints to ensure that development meets the requirements of technical and functional specifications Become an expert with the software functions, calculations and processes Preliminary testing of new features/product enhancements and the support of test case development through the testing cycle Update and maintain support materials and documentation as required for users and the business Assist the Customer Support Team, on an ad-hoc basis, with their delivery of best in class service Person Specification: At least 2 years’ experience working as a product or business analyst Accountancy qualification (or part qualification): AAT, ATT, ACA or ACCA or equivalent Relevant degree (or similar) in accountancy or IT Experience working within accountancy and/or IT company Innovative and forward thinking Team player Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent organisation and self-management skills Stakeholder management Excellent attention to detail Customer focus / commercial awareness Excellent written and verbal communication
