To help drive their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Trainee Field sales Business Development Executive to join their expanding team. The Role As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving the business as they continue to expand. You will be required to: Telemarketing and prospecting for new business from their Wokingham Head Office. The focus will be on internal telemarketing sales for the first 6 months, with a view to train and mentor into Field Sales position Utilise various research methods to target businesses and their key contacts, including online tools such as LinkedIn What they offer A starting salary of £20,000 per annum 5% commission on each sale in the education, medical and leisure sectors and 10% commission on office sector of each sale (of the monthly invoice value) Company laptop and mobile phone upon passing probation For any prospective site visits where own vehicle is used, a mileage allowance of 45p for the first 10k miles per annum (25p thereafter) will be provided 20 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays 6 month probation period 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with flexibility dependent on the needs of the business Please note that this role is responsible for generating new business; it is not Account Management. The Candidate Good communication skills Strong desire to succeed A minimum of 12 months sales or telemarketing experience Self-motivation Drive and tenacity Excellent prospecting skills Valid UK driver’s licence Experience in the services sector would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
