The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting AML / CDD checks sanctions screening. Experience in using a recognized screening software and performing monthly batch screening is essential. Responsibilities as our Financial Crime Officer: - Work closely with the Group Head of Financial Crime/MLRO and Senior Financial Crime Officer in developing a robust business-wide AML, PEP and sanctions screening programme - Undertake the ongoing and ad hoc screening - Investigate potential hits using internal and external sources - Conduct enhanced due diligence where PEP or sanctions target identified - Ensure robust records are kept for sound audit trail, managing the PEP, Sanction and HNW files - Prepare accurate and meaningful management information in respect of risk exposure and trends - Liaise and work closely with existing Financial Crime, IT, Risk and Compliance functions within the Group - Assist in monitoring of systems and efficiency across the business in relation to Financial Crime - Assist in delivering comprehensive Financial Crime training workshops across the Group at induction and ongoing on an annual basis - Liaise and work closely with existing counter fraud/ financial crime functions in the Group including any in South Africa - Undertake assurance work on different areas of the business with a financial crime risk lens To become our Financial Crime Officer, you will have the below skills and experience: Essential - A demonstrable knowledge of different Financial Crime topics including; Sanctions, AB & C, AML, and Onboarding (including KYC, KYB) and international markets - Compliance or FinCrime Qualifications to Diploma standard - Key knowledge of FCA / PRA and JMLSG requirements for Money Laundering, International Sanctions and Bribery and Corruption - Experience in screening and conducting AML / CDD checks0 - General office and stakeholder management experience Desirable - Degree level 2:1 or equivalent - Knowledge of international rules and regulations regarding money laundering, international sanctions and bribery and corruption Closing Date: Friday 20th March 2020 Working for Vitality you'll experience an exciting mix of creativity and innovation, within a framework of challenging objectives and a passion for delivering the best.
