Our client is a highly successful, market leading, food manufacturing company in Northampton Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician working Nights paying £22,000 per annum The Quality Assurance Technician role working Nights is working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 6.00pm - 6.00am averaging 38.5 hours per week and duties will include: undertaking quality checks in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring product safety is monitored and maintained, raising non-conformities, technical incidents and taking suitable and appropriate corrective actions, collecting microbiological samples, water samples, environmental swabs and hand swabs as required, registering samples with the lab, collecting samples and attending production taste panel, undertaking internal audits, focusing on GMP, being familiar with critical control points, calibration checks and effectively work and communicate with the management team and production operatives to continuously improve standards The successful Quality Assurance Technician will have a minimum of 2 year's experience within a food manufacturing company, previous experience as a QA or similar within the QA department, good knowledge of the ISO 22000 and / or ISO 9001, be self motivated and pro active, flexible and adaptable in terms of shift pattern and absence coverage, good attention to detail and knowledge of BRC standard Benefits for the Quality Assurance Technician role include: £22,000 28 days holiday Pension & parking If you are interested in the Quality Assurance Technician role, please apply today weareBRG This vacancy is based in the United Kingdom.
