Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a local factory company in Northampton. My client is currently looking to appoint a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Thursday 08.30-17.00pm and Friday 08.30-16.00pm. The ideal candidate You will preferably come from a fabrication/manufacturing environment with high-quality standards where you are used to working with drawings of a range of components to carry out quality investigations/inspections. You will be able to understand angular orientation of components and preferably have experience of ISO9001, ISO14001, and FAIR reports. Excellent administration skills and the ability to produce bespoke customer reports are crucial to succeeding in this position. This role would suit an experienced quality inspector looking to progress into a quality engineer role. The ability to use Faro type measuring equipment would be advantageous. Key Activities Support and develop the manufacturing inspection process. Internal non-conformance management and improvement through root cause analysis. Day to day problem solving/continuous improvement driving down losses due to remade parts. Highlight actions required for product and process improvement. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner. Produce daily KPI data and achieve target improvement. Management of the company non-conformance process and items that fail to meet quality requirements, ensuring full investigation of issues through root cause analysis. Maintain closing of customer complaints and investigations in a timely manner supporting customer satisfaction. Fox Resourcing is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
