Overview
Our client, a hugely successful music company is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee international companies. Key responsibilities will include: Daily use of financial processes, updating and improving as needed. Management and reconciliation of sales & purchase ledger. Maintaining and reconciling bank accounts, verifying and posting transactions. Managing accounting software from a weekly through to quarterly basis. Managing client invoices. Liaising with clients, suppliers and banking contacts. Preparing schedules, statements and financial reports as requested. Managing and filing relevant documentation. Working closely with the group’s Financial Consultants to prepare quarterly management accounts and VAT returns. Collaborating with Financial consultants to follow through end of year routines. Delivering on HMRC reporting. Requirements: Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent experience of Sage. Strong bookkeeping skills. Previous experience in a similar role. Logical and methodical approach. Able to work quickly and accurately to deadlines. Possess relevant NVQ/SVQ qualifications and AAT.
