Overview
Reed Finance are pleased to be partnering with a leading construction company to find their next Finance Manager. This role is seeking a motivated and dynamic Finance Manager who can take responsibility for providing finance function for SPV companies and management of a small team. Duties & Responsibilities: • Management of day to day accounting and finance responsibilities for a number of SPV companies and a property development business • Prepare periodic budgets • Prepare monthly reporting packs for shareholders and lenders including updated financial models of future expected cashflows • Oversight of quarterly group reporting • Management of VAT, CIS tax returns ensuring filed on timely basis • Manage relationships with SPV Board’s and shareholder in conjunction with SPV CEO • Lead, manage and prepare annual statutory accounts and corporate tax computations in conjunction with external auditors • Prepare reports required by lenders of each SPV and prompt and accurate reporting of matters relevant to various contractual obligations with each SPV • Administer requested for drawdown of financing under the agreements with various SPVs • Develop, monitor and improve financial systems • Develop, manage and improve controls and internal audit processes Experience and skills required: • Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA or equivalent) • Experience preparing statutory accounts and tax returns • SPV finance experience • SAP experience • IFRS knowledge • Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards • Experience managing staff • Ability to adapt and work in a busy and challenging environment • Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel and Word skills • High level communication skills and a positive attitude
