Overview

Role: Workshop Support Engineer Contract: Permanent Salary: £22,000 - £23,000 depending on experience Location: Maidenhead As a Workshop Support Engineer you will be responsible for; - Assist the Briggs engineers in the effective maintenance by carrying out jet washing of machines. - Liaise with Workshop Supervisor and engineers to ensure machines are taken and removed from the workshop before and after completion of prep - Work alongside workshop engineers assisting in general workshop repairs and maintenance - To fit parts to stock machines as a pre-prep to speed up the PDI process. - Part time driving delivering and collecting of parts if required - Clean machines after PDI completion or prior to delivery - Carry out basic PDI’s on a variety of machines - Paint touch ups to damaged machines - Move machines around the workshop area supplying machines to fellow engineers As a Workshop Support Engineer you will demonstrate; - Job requires a fork lift and ride on sweeper operator’s license - Previous experience within either a workshop - The ability to work independently and use own initiative -Trustworthy As a Workshop Support Engineer you will command; - A base salary of £22,000 - £23,000 depending on experience - Overtime available - Contributory pension scheme - Paycare health scheme - 25 days holiday bank holidays - Sick pay - Profit share scheme after 12 months service - In-depth product training with long term opportunities for personal growth and development About Us Briggs Equipment is an engineering services and asset management specialist with its people core to everything that it does.
