Are you an IFRS/FRS expert who is looking for a role that will shape the future of the reporting function? Would working for a well established and highly regarded name in media tick the box? Is financial reporting compliance, governance and policy implementation something you see in your career future? I am working with a very well known and respected name within the media industry to source an expert who can hit the ground running and provide superior guidance and support in relation to financial reporting, governance, IFRS/FRS compliance and finance policy. Located in central London, you will join the team on a contract basis as the internal authority on accounting policy, ensuring that these are robust and are adhered to or amended/adjusted as required. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strong internal controls and ensuring that all guidance and practice notes are delivered in liaison with the external auditors. You will also be responsible for: IFRS & FRS guidance, ensuring accounting policies are robust, communicated and applied Drive monthly/quarterly/annual reporting Manage group consolidation reporting Maintain a strong focus on working capital and cash flow management, reporting, budgeting and forecasting To be successful in this role you will be: Qualified accountant Significant financial/technical accounting experience Strong IFRS experience Advanced Excel Excellent communication skills Media or related sector experience would be highly advantageous If you are interested in this role please Apply now or contact Lisa Jessup at This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89665158
