Overview
An exciting role to join one of the leading global payment platforms. The ideal role for an ambitious newly-qualified /finalist candidate looking to join a great business and continue their progression. My client is looking for someone with a strong work ethic who has good experience with high volume transactional elements as well as the month end process. Key Responsibilities: Monthly reporting for a number of legal entities in both the UK and overseas Reconciliation of various control accounts Assist in various other analysis and reporting for other accounting submissions Assisting in the delivering of improvements to systems, processes and team skills To assist with the preparation of monthly accounts for various legal entities. This may include more specific involvement in Cash Balances, Trade Receivables and Trades Payables, Financial Instruments, Intercompany and Foreign Exchange Translation. Balance sheet reconciliations and other monthly controls Maintain adherence to company’s accounting policy Ad-hoc project work outside the month-end cycle Help drive process efficiencies and tighten up controls Provide continual support to other Finance team members Key Skills and Experience: ACCA/CIMA Newly Qualified/Finalist Ideally a solid academic background Prior experience working in a similar function Strong Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Adaptable to changing systems and processes Well organised and can work under pressure Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
