Job Opportunity Reporting directly to the infrastructure manager will play key role in ensuring environment reliability and availability of IT services throughout Samworth Brothers Exposure to many different technologies, perform standard infrastructure integrity checks, deal with complex technical challenges, assist with project delivery and contribute to new solution designs with the architects. Support server environments hosted internally, with partners and in Azure Manage patching and maintenance of our server and endpoint estate Support of our authentication services, including Active Directory and Azure AD Provide reporting on endpoint/server deployment and protection status Provide an escalation point to the operations centre for complex technical issues Manage the infrastructure supporting our Hand-Held Terminal (HHT) solutions Liaise directly with technology partners Contribute to continuous improvement program Deliver technical solutions, participate on the on-call rota The Right Person You will be someone who is self-motivated and focused on the customer. You will demonstrate initiative and ownership. You value others and their contribution and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues. You will be flexible and adaptable to change. In addition, you will have the following skills: Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering infrastructure to a large user base Experience of delivering and maintaining server, HHT and endpoint management solutions A good understanding of Windows based services and authentication, for example DNS, AD, GPO, WSUS, DFS and DHCP Microsoft Windows servers A good understanding of the functions of an IP network Excellent fault finding and diagnosis skills Experience of providing 3rd line support Firewall behaviour, VMware vSphere, MS Intune, MS Azure (desirable) What we have to offer We provide a terrific range of benefits including great facilities with onsite parking and subsidised restaurants, as well as an excellent retirement savings plan (pension), private health cover (subject to terms and conditions) and a discount scheme ‘Quality Life’ that provides savings at supermarkets, high street retailers and a host of leisure outlets.
