IT Infrastructure Engineer Salary c £40,000 - £45,000 £5k Bonus 10% Pension Leicester, Leicestershire (East Midlands) We’re looking for someone that is interested in working for a large organisation that takes technology adoption seriously. This role will give the relevant person exposure to a lot of different technologies within an organisation that operates at scale. We are excited by Cloud (o365 and Azure), latest ways of working, Cisco, VMWare, Citrix, NetApp and Firewalls. This role will be challenging but will leave you exposed to some of the latest and greatest tools, within a business that has a fantastic attrition rate, and has been recognised as a superb place to work. Role: Technical support for Infrastructure, Windows Systems based operating systems implementation of and adherence to security policies and system availability SLA’s. The successful candidate will be working closely with the 3rd Line support manager on all Infrastructure projects / technologies Working with 3rd Parties (Microsoft o365 and Azure) The role requires in depth practical knowledge of a wide range of Infrastructure & Back Office products. Provide advice and guidance to our customer’s and liaising with 3rd parties on support issues where appropriate. Management and administration of Office 365. Recommend and action remedial work to resolve problems and prevent future incidents. Knowledge of virtualised environments (VMWare). Operating within agreed security frameworks to maintain security across all systems to comply with GDPR requirements and PCI. Day to day management of in-house call queue for BAU queries / issues from the business. Creation, update and maintenance of the technical knowledge base and documentation. Manage and mitigate any vulnerabilities identified by our SOC Skills / experience required: VMware/NetApp Storage/Citrix/Citrix Netscaler/Microsoft Stack/Firewall exposure. Beneficial: Experience with Office 365 or Azure Knowledge of firewalls The role is commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Burton on Trent, Coventry and Loughborough.
