Overview
Blackwaters is recruiting a Finance Analyst for a rapidly growing and world-class Biotech firm in central London. To support expansion, this person will support end to end accounting, planning and analysis for an international business unit. This suits a recently qualified and high calibre accountant, aiming to improve and develop themselves while gaining exposure in a dynamic and challenging environment. There is extensive headroom to progress here. Main responsibilities; Completely understand the nature of all transactions to ensure accurate month end close and reporting Anticipate and improve processes to allow for reporting upgrades Cleanse and make sense of data to report trends Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Support and challenge senior stakeholder colleagues Create financial models, analyses and insight to support decision making Respond to demands from external stakeholders Assist with VAT returns and statutory reporting Support projects and initiatives across the wider business Person required; Good academics Recently qualified, either ACA or ACCA Core accounting expertise Demonstrated stakeholder management, outside finance Inquisitive and articulate
