London Representative Office of Kazakh Joint Stock Company Sovereign Wealth Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" is looking for a Finance and Operations Manager to join their growing team in London. Joint Stock Company Sovereign Wealth Fund was founded in accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Location : London, UK Starting date for applications: 10th of March 2020 Closing date for applications: 10th of April 2020 Key requirements : · Advanced level of English and Kazakh languages is required. Chinese and Russian languages are a good advantage; · Minimum 3 years of international work experience; · Master's degree from reputable university is a strong advantage; · Experience in financial and accounting reporting standards in accordance with the reporting rules and tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as IFRS; · Experience in making long term and strategic business plans of the company in compliance with the budgeting regulations of government companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan; · Knowledge of the procurement rules and procedures in accordance with the legislation of Republic of Kazakhstan; · Experienced user of SAP System; · Previous experience working in Sovereign wealth funds and their overseas representative offices Key responsibilities : · Key member of the leadership team responsible for providing financial insights, business, decision support and governance; · Outline, manage and implement best practices in financial processes and procedures according to UK rules and regulations; · Oversee budget allocation and maintenance; · Prepare monthly staff payroll; · Set up weekly / monthly KPI tracking and reporting; · Liaise with the Head of Representative Office and Director of International cooperation department to determine the range of investment opportunities for the funds inward an outward investment; · Ad Hoc projects e.g. grant project quarterly financial reporting, forecast-based analysis of the company's working capital requirements, etc; · Take financial reporting responsibility for the contracts within the division; · Coordination, analysis and presentation of annual budget and forecasting packs; · Presentation of monthly accounts and coordination of any actions required; · Maintaining the integrity of all financial information held; · Review additional reports to aid the business in reviewing financial performance; · Documentation and development of current business processes; · Ownership of the financial planning process; · Accurate, timely and insightful communication of financial plans, forecasts and variances to stakeholders; · Ensuring corporate policy compliance with minimal business disruption; · Process improvement and implementation
