Job Title - Finance Systems Analyst Contract - Permanent Salary - GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 Location - London Our client a leading Insurance brokerage based in London are currently seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join their newly formed team. Duties will include; The role is within our clients newly formed Financial Planning & Analysis team but more specifically working within their finance change & systems team under the new Head this position will be pivotal in creating the tools and data extracts that our client uses to analyse their extensive data Revenue analysis will be a key task for the new team involving design and creation of new data warehouse sources, so strong liaison with IT will be required The business is diverse so an eye for detail will be required Systems administration tasks will be to ensure data integrity, ensuring all systems are updated and one version of the truth is evident across all platforms This is an exciting time to be part of the firms Finance department and we expect new joiners to actively contribute to the development of the team. Key responsibilities of the role: Create and maintain the administration processes around all Finance core systems, including: Insight Software - CXO Cockpit (MDX), Oracle PBCS - Essbase & MDX, PeopleSoft - SQL Queries, Excel models - VBA & advanced Excel skill set Ensure all systems reconcile exactly to each other Liaison with IT in the UK and US to ensure system changes are validated and reconciled As the Finance team evolves and the FP&A function is embedded and matures, there will be projects that arise from time to time which will involve deep involvement Providing access to and analysis of revenue data Providing cost analysis, specifically employee analysis and statistics Building and maintaining reporting packs for Finance stakeholders Build and maintain KPI tables Responding to business requests for additional information in conjunction with other member of the finance team Automating and constantly challenging standard business tasks Candidate Profile; Candidates should have evidence of skills in: · MDX & VBA knowledge - essential · Advanced Excel - essential · Oracle EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion Planning experience - highly desirable · PeopleSoft - desirable · Accounting and finance related exposure gained in industry or in practice · Proven ability to drive changes and implement new policies / processes · Demonstrable ability to work well as a team · High attention to detail and being proactive and self-motivated · Experience of working in a high paced deadline driven environment · Good academic background, with strong A levels · Educated to degree standard - preferable, but not essential If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact us now on or email ; To view all Current Vacancies or for more information on our Refer a Friend scheme, contact one of our consultants or visit our website Please Note: Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we will only contact successful applications.
