Network Engineer (CCIE) - London - Contract - £Competitive daily rate The position of Network Engineer will be a key member of the team ensuring efficient, productive and high quality network services and availability amongst multiple UK data-centres. Key skills and experience: Working experience in Networking background (with reasonable large sites, multiple sites), or a similar environment. Strong experience with using service provider level Cisco routing/switching/firewall equipment, plus ideally HP, Extreme and Arista switches. You will have replaced switch/router/firewall components as well as configurations to restore service to a failed environment. Experience with routing protocols including MP-BGP & OSPFv2/v3 and EIGRP, ideally in service provider networks. Experience with MPLS technologies in service provider networks including following protocols and products: LDP, RSVP, L2VPNs, VPLS, L3VPNs, MPLS-TE. Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls especially incorporating IPSEC and SSL protocols. Experience with other network technologies, including; HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Dot1q, QinQ, LAG/LACP, MTUs, CAM, ARP, CDP. Experience with CAT5 and fibre cabling and Data Centres cabling management. Experience with Data Centres network monitoring including SNMP and Syslog protocols.
