Overview
To provide the business with accurate and timely sales reporting and analysis, both internal and external, to help improve understanding and decision making. Partnering with the commercial teams to ensure efficient use of marketing and promotional spends. Managing the monthly sales forecast, challenging the sales teams on forecasted volumes based on historic performance and trends and understanding the market. Develop reporting so the wider business has much better visibility of performance. Produce weekly and monthly sales reporting, including analysis of financial performance (variance analysis) to plans Analyse internal and external data to help business understand performance and marketplace trends Manage monthly forecasts and annual budget, providing detailed analysis of any changes in forecast. Challenge the sales team to ensure robust and accurate forecasts. Business partner with the sales teams and provide required analysis of customer performance, promotional evaluations and market dynamics. Tracking and analysis of promotional investment to understand return on investment helping sales and marketing team to effectively use spend. Analyse customer profitability Continually improving quality of reports and analysis. Become super user on company BI Tool. Support the Finance Director on projects. Ad hoc analysis as required Individual Requirements: Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent). QBE also considered. Experience in FMCG is a huge benefit, if not retail is highly desired.
