Qualification in Quantity Surveying: HNC, HND, BSc, DegreeNEC form of contract will be critical Alongside this you’ll need to have previous experience with change management & cost management due to it being NEC option A You’ll also need to be from a rail background, whether that covers civils, M&E, OHLE or building works – multidisciplinary is what we need What will you be doing as QS?A normal day will involve the usual day to day duties for QS such as early warning notifications and monthly CVRs. But, as mentioned above, it will be key that you have previous experience with change management and cost management due to the form of contract. Therefore, if you haven’t done this, this role probably won’t be for you You’ll also have the chance to get involved in some procurement as you’ll be joining this project early on.
