Managing Quantity SurveyorNewcastleA world-renowned Tier 1 contractor have an exciting opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Newcastle and work on a major project expected to run over the next 5 years.The Role:As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will have a very strong contractual understanding and will be in charge of regular amendments and working with the project team to understand the Engineering impacts of these. Day to day you will- Oversee the dealing of early warnings, cost management and change management, (Contract s lump sum Option A so change management and cost management are key).Obtain information for monthly CVR reviews from the Quantity Surveyors.Be a key point of contact for the client as well as working closely with Sub Contractors, so you will be involved with some procurement.
