Overview

One of the fastest-growing international electric motor technology companies has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Commercial Operations and Project Manager to join their UK Application Engineering team and act as team lead based in London, Oval. With a reputation for innovative design and manufacturing solutions, they design and manufacture a comprehensive range of miniature DC vibration motors, gear motors, and brushless motor mechanisms. The company delivers complex engineering solutions to customers worldwide across a broad range of industries including Medical, Consumer Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial, and Robotics. About the role: The role is to provide a central focus for the communication and project management of the customer developments around the business. This will involve direct liaison with the customers, the European based Application Engineering and Sales teams, and act as a bridge to the Development and Manufacturing facilities in Hong Kong. It is a senior role reporting to the Managing Director, requiring sound commercial judgement, excellent organisation and project management skills, diligent documentation, above all great people skills as you will be communicating across many languages and cultures. Responsibilities: Resourcing and prioritising business opportunities based on their commercial potential Developing and managing the project plans for these opportunities Managing an in-house Applications Engineering team in delivering both pre and post sales solutions and support Developing specifications and proposals to specific customer requirements Working with the design/development engineering team to help specify and deliver new concepts and ideas Developing the systems and tools to enable the business to scale About you: Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Good commercial understanding and judgement Proven experience in project management and allocating technical resources to meet project goals Ideally some consultancy experience Ideally with a technical background possibly in electronics engineering, mechatronics or robotics Working experience within the electronics or product design industries Experience of international trade and Asian cultures would be helpful Benefits: Personal Reward Scheme Flexi-time working hours Excellent training & development Opportunity to travel High-spec offices Monthly team socials 21 days holiday stats Pension Scheme This is an exciting career opportunity within a successful, market-leading business.
