What you'll be doing Reporting to the Head of Governance, Quality & Risk, this is an exciting opportunity for a degree qualified Registered Nurse, with strong experience of all aspects of clinical governance, to perform the role of safeguarding and resuscitation lead across the Bupa Health Clinics business. The Clinical Manager - Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing clinical support for the nurses, clinicians and other allied health professionals working within our Health Clinics. They will play a key role in ensuring that clinical delivery is meeting governance requirements in line with the Bupa Health Services clinical governance framework and CQC fundamental standards - specifically relating to safeguarding, resuscitation and infection control. Key accountabilities and activities To act as the Health Clinics lead for Resus and be responsible for delivery of key training such as Basic Life Support across all clinics To be the Health Clinics lead for safeguarding and infection control, to ensure that individuals across all clinics are trained appropriately To assist the Head of Governance in projects, audits and varied tasks that present across the clinics To assist Clinical Leads and other key stakeholders to ensure planning, recruitment and resourcing of nurses is fit for purpose across Health Clinics To lead on mentoring, training and audit for all Nurses with Health Clinics Accountable for the outcomes and quality of the Mammography and Anytime Healthline programmes. Direct line management for Mammography Lead and dotted line management for the clinical nursing lead of Anytime Healthline Help to ensure that clinical delivery in Health Clinics meet and exceed CQC standards Play an active role in the UK Lead Nurse team, inputting into the Nursing community development Work with the Head of Governance on project relating to quality improvement as required To assist with clinical training and clinical appraisal for Health Clinics, ensuring adherence to professional standards Building relationships with key stakeholders - corporate clients, CQC and other market units Who we're looking for? We are looking for a Clinical Manager who has a strong background in nurse management, safeguarding and resuscitation. You will be a commercially aware Registered Nurse with a sound understanding of all aspects of clinical governance. You will undertake regular CPD activities in line with appraisal and revalidation. With recent experience in a similar role you will be confident making clinical decisions that have a commercial and operational impact across different teams, departments and sites. In addition you will have significant safeguarding and infection control experience and will be trained to an appropriate standard. Experience: Registered Nurse on part 1 or 3 of the NMC register Strong background in nurse management, safeguarding and resuscitation. Significant experience in delivery of infection control training and best practice Sound understanding of all aspects of clinical governance. Degree in a relevant health related field. Masters degree in a relevant health related field (desirable not essential) Good track record leading educational and training programmes Proven ability to work collaboratively with clinicians across all professions What's it like to work here?
