Overview

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Regeneration Officer to assist in the delivery, audit and management of place based urban design and development projects throughout East Dunbartonshire. Reporting to the Regeneration and Town Centres Team Leader - the role will require you to: • Initiate, develop and lead a range of regeneration projects and services. • Consult, engage and negotiate with stakeholders and partners • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, strategies and action plans. The successful candidate must be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or extensive demonstrable skills, knowledge, experience and competence in project management and urban design. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate’s first salary payment. In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead. Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.
