Overview
My client is delivering a number of high profile new build development projects and is currently in the market for a Development Manager who has experience in Housing & Regeneration. This post has the key role in ensuring delivery of these projects in a timely and expeditious manner. The Regeneration & Development Manager is required to do the following To provide the business with technical advice in respect of development, planning and property matters including land assembly and landlord and tenant matters. To ensure the effective delivery of a number of regeneration & new build projects. Commission and manage multi-disciplinary consultant teams to support project development and implementation. Lead and be responsible for the implementation of projects, programme and initiatives across the business in line with their future plans, strategies and priorities. Manage consultancy/contracting staff indirectly and on some projects directly. The successful candidate will have the following Regeneration & Development experience within the affordable & social housing sector. Experience in working either with/for a Local Government and/or a Housing Association. A personable persona as this role is involves a lot of stakeholder engagement.
